When your car kissed a deer...
猶他的路邊常會有“注意麋鹿”的標誌，聽起來好像很浪漫，遇到可能很淒慘。同事在晚上開往北邊Idaho州的路上，因為很偏僻又無人煙。晚上天又暗，視線很差，等到發現鹿出現在眼前，煞車已經來不及，因為車速很快（時速大概可以開到八九十mile），閃的話會很危險，所以就給他直接撞下去。同事剛買這樣二手車不久，幸好可以修理，保險付$7000修車，自己再付$500。他的父親開學（星期一）前三天（星期五）過世（她和他的媽媽和女兒還來學校佈置教室和準備開學的東西）（他剛從五年級調來一年級），他只請一天，因為美國老師沒有喪假。
撞車（星期五晚上）後的星期一是校務會議（沒有學生，只有老師到學校開會），所以請假處理車禍的事，聽室友說（因為ＸＸＸ所以我遲到）竟然被校長“冷嘲熱諷”（註！）。我們想要確認這是美國人的黑色幽默還是冷酷的一面，我還特別去問一個美國朋友。哎！這是什麼世界。
註！：聽說校長在學校老師面前說：為什麼每次學校有重要的事，Amiee都有事～～
有人喜歡發生這些事嗎？這樣的領導者也真讓我長了見識～～

It was soo scary! Someone definitely was watching over us, in the simple fact, I didn't swerve! I most likely would have missed the deer, but who knows what would have happened to us!! We stopped right in our tracks after the deer rode on my hood and then went flying!! 3 phones and NO service...car completely died with NO power at ALL!! Couldn't even unlock the doors to open them...my BIGGEST fear...another car coming around the bend and down the hill, not seeing us until too late, to take us all! Finally, doors opened, another car in the distance, and I was standing out flashing cell phones for light! TeRriFyInG!! Scott arrived and the car was towed to Montpelier!!
Poor deer...but she shouldn't have been hanging out in the middle of the road!!
Ugh...I was sick to my stomach again when looking at the damage in the daylight!
You can tell right where the deer took a ride..
